Barcelona thrashed, hosts Paris Saint German, in the second leg match of the Round of 16 on Wedneday night.
Arguably one of the greatest matches, and come backs in the history of European Football, Barca went in the match with a 4-0 score line deficit from the first leg in France and finished the two legged match with an aggregate score line of 6-5 at home in Nou stadium, Spain.
Going in to the second leg, it was a debate amongst football fanatics all over the world. The big question being can Barcelona come back from such a deficit? and can PSG repeat what they did more than 20 years ago when they eliminated Barca from the Champions League?’
Barca was all fired up as soon as the match began, with Suarez scoring the first goal three minutes into the game.
PSG’s Layvin Kurzawa showered Barca with the second goal when he scored an own goal.
Lionel Messi followed up with another goal from a penalty kick. The third goal stirred up the confidence of the team and fans.
PSG’s Edison Cavani scored an away goal 62 minute into the game.
Barca kept on attacking which led Neymar scoring the fourth goal and also scored the panalty.
Sergi Roberto scored the winning goal in the 95 minutes into the game and the stadium erupted out of celebration.
Barcelona advances to the Quarter Finals with a 6-5 aggregate score line.
In other matches, Borussia Durtmond won their second leg match against Benfica with a 4-0 score line, therefore advancing into the Quarters with a 4-1 aggregate score line.
