Johannesburg-Fire broke out at a building in the Johannesburg central business district (CBD) on Tuesday morning.

Three Firefighters trucks were on the scene trying to extinguish the inferno.

According to the Johannesburg Emergency Services, few shops are damaged in the blaze on the corner of Troye Street and Albertina Sisulu Road.

“A few shops were on fire,” said Johannesburg Emergency Management Services spokesperson Nana Radebe.

Once the scene was cleared, shopkeepers started salvaging items from the building.
